1. Purpose
These Terms govern the use of the velqento.com site and the relationship between Velqento Real Estate S.A. and the users who access the site, register on the platform or participate in real estate crowdlending opportunities available in Argentina.
2. Nature of the service
Velqento operates as a collective financing platform under a real estate crowdlending model. We facilitate the encounter between individual investors and projects linked to the development, construction, remodelling or revaluation of real estate. Velqento does not act as an investment adviser, bank, real estate broker or insurance company.
3. Capacity to contract
To operate you must be at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity under the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code and provide the documentation we request to comply with anti-money laundering rules issued by the UIF.
4. Registration
When creating a user account you declare that the information provided is true, up-to-date and complete. Any changes must be communicated within a reasonable timeframe. We reserve the right to suspend accounts when inconsistent information or regulatory reasons justify it.
5. Investment risks
All investments involve risks, including the total or partial loss of the invested capital, delays in construction, regulatory changes and market fluctuations. Past returns do not guarantee future results. Before contributing funds, review the specific documentation of each project, evaluate your risk tolerance and, if you consider it necessary, consult independent professionals.
6. Fees and costs
Velqento charges fees linked to the structuring and administration of each project. The list of applicable fees is disclosed before confirming any contribution and forms an integral part of the project documents.
7. User obligations
You agree to use the platform in good faith, not to infringe third-party rights, not to engage in fraudulent practices and to respect intellectual property rights on content, trademarks and materials published on the site.
8. Intellectual property
The name "Velqento", its logo, texts, images, graphics and other content are owned by Velqento Real Estate S.A. or by third-party licensors and are protected by Argentine Law 11,723. They may not be reproduced without prior written authorisation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Argentine law, Velqento is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost opportunities arising from the use of the site, except in the case of duly proven wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Suspension of service
We may temporarily suspend or interrupt access to the site for maintenance tasks, security incidents or regulatory requirements without generating a right to compensation for the user.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the ordinary courts located in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
